I drew my new Polar AoSaai, Equinox... who actually prefers to go by the names Quin or Quinton. He's pretty docile, so this is pretty blah as far as my busts go- though his coloration was a lot of fun.

Normal Shading style and stuff, just a smaller bust! C:

do you make these with photoshop or somethig? the detail in the coloring is superb! if i may ask, what toolor technique is used for the textured look towards the bottom of the neck?

OMAIGAWD iam such a newbie to digital drawing, i just figured out the magic wandXD i would ask a million questions, but i dont want to be a nag.since i know the tools in sai, did you use a specific one to make that texturing? or did you just use a gigantic canvas and draw the texture?

Hullo! Sorry to butt in, but maybe I could help? :XD:
I use Photoshop but it should be the same. All you do is grab a free texture from somewhere (this website is a good one [link] )
Then you put it into SAI over the top of all the other layers. I'm not sure if it's called the same thing, but I then set the layer blebding to "Multiply" and that sort of merges the texture with your picture ^.^
